So I started out doing the anglerfish that I’ve been drawing on people’s albums for years. This, it turns out, took a LONG time, so it was short lived. I moved on to the simplified form after like four tries. This prevailed for quite a long time until Katherine worked up a better design, which I stole. This is the “Kanglerfish.” After LOTS of Kanglerfishes (with various differences like, smiles, frowns, head sizes, jaw sizes, etc, I accidentally stuck a second eye on one of them. This was late in the process, which is too bad, because it looks quite good.
And then, every once in a while, I’d stick a tooth or two onto the Hanklerfish which (aside from the initial pre-book style) is the most rare sort of Hanklerfish.
BUT THE MOST RARE OF ALL are the mess-ups…the Trianglerfish (which looked like a triangle) the Angelerfish (which looked like an Angelfish) the Derplerfish (which looked derpy) and the Chinglerfish (which had a truly TRULY massive chin.) These are labeled and, if you get one, please let me know. I want to know where they ended up.
Also, I should note: You can’t get one if you don’t get the book: http://dft.ba/tfios
The chinglerfish. I WANT THE CHINGLERFISH.
